Demons, ghouls, zombies, magic rock monster... things. The blue bomber returns to show the hardest game ever who's boss. Ghosts 'n Goblins was the worst of the worst among difficult classic games. Sure you could fall off an edge and die, but only if those godawful zombies didn't get you first. It was so hard that if you didn't use the right weapon (one of the weaker ones) to defeat the final boss (that is, if you could get to him) you can't beat him. After defeating him with the right weapon you have to replay the entire game at a harder difficulty and then, and only then, have you beat the game.
